Overcome Benefit Concert

  • Richard E. Wildish Community Theater 630 Main Street Springfield, OR, 97477 United States (map)

"What's broken can be mended. What hurts can be healed. And no matter how dark it gets, the sun is going to rise again."

The dancers of All That! Dance Company present “Overcome” - a benefit dance concert celebrating the ability to overcome anything that life may put in your path. Themes of hope, love, and community will be woven throughout the concert. An ensemble of eight young women will take the stage and weave beautiful movement and elegant lifts in to a story about piecing yourself back together in a touching lyrical number entitled "Porcelain Heart." Sixteen year old Emily Singer, will perform a solo piece to the soulful sounds of Lauren Daigle's hit "Rescue." Twenty high school dancers will flood the stage with energy and passion set to the song "Leave A Light On" to encourage each child that no matter how dark it may seem, there is always hope. This concert will fill your cup and leave you moved and inspired.

ATD is partnering with ElRod Center - an organization dedicated to helping children and youth who are navigating mental health and societal issues. ElRod Center hopes to help youth achieve functional wellness in a dysfunctional world through artistic expression, therapeutic intervention, play, life skills programs, mentoring, psycho-education, nutrition, community partnerships, social engagement and building relationships with one another. All monies raised from this concert will directly benefit this organization and their mission to support mental health in our local youth.

If you are unable to attend the concert, but would still like to contribute to ElRod Center, please consider giving a direct donation: https://www.paypal.me/elrodcenter
